Tabun was born from a blend of ideas and a desire to create change. Inspired by the personal stories and experiences of international students in Brisbane’s CBD, our founder noticed a disconnect: the vibrant, easy-going, and multicultural Aussie lifestyle often celebrated wasn’t being fully experienced by these very individuals in our community.

As a multilingual child of migrants, our founder also understood firsthand the challenges of intermediate and advanced language learning—particularly the lack of support, community, and structure needed to thrive. Tabun’s mission is to bridge this gap: to connect these incredibly talented yet often overlooked people in our midst. From primary, middle, and high school students to international students to those embarking on career changes, Tabun provides a supportive space to foster lifelong connections, meaningful experiences, and a love of learning.
